London Centre for the Study of the Crusades, the Military Religious Orders and the Latin East

The Centre was established in 1989. Combining the expertise and resources of Royal Holloway University of London and the Museum and Library of the Order of St John its purpose is to raise money for research and for the library and museum collections and to disseminate knowledge. It has regularly organized international conferences on the military-religious orders since 1992. It has also sponsored the publication of a text-book on The Crusades for the English National School Curriculum.
